I don't see why they can't update the printer driver to accomodate this new type of paper. When I contacted Canon, they danced around the issue and offered me a 10% discount on a new printer, which isn't what I wanted. When ordering this paper be sure that your printer will support it. I have a Canon i9100 and i9900 and it will not print borderless 8X10 prints on these printers.
I think this will be great for when I actually start printing photos from my computer. I haven't started using them yet, but I took one sheet out to feel it--it's very smooth and has a nice front. I got the sheets a few weeks ago because I ran out of photo paper and needed to purchase more. They came in brand new packaging.
the pictures came out awful on this paper,no gloss at all. This did not work at all.
I use mostly a Plus Glossy 4x6 paper and the rendition of scenery as well as TrueBAsic-generated images amazes me each time with their faithful reproduction. I have a Canon Pixma MP500, and a laser jet; the Canon for color, the jet for text.
I have used many different photo papers, and this one tends to make the prints far too cold in appearance. The weight of the paper is good, but it lacks life when I print on it.
